Manga Recommendation #1: City Of Darkness

Alright geeks and geekets!

I present my first *Manga Recommendation*: 

City Of Darkness

I stumbled across this manga just by the desire to wash the bad taste of Naruto out of my mouth (yeah, i was a fan but no more) and boy how lucky was I!
City Of Darkness takes your main protagonist, who's mixed in a world of street wars and manages to add romance without it taking up too much space.
Basic idea, this guy was the number one kid for a super-sized gang boss - but in one night, everything went out of control and BOOM - the young man now has the biggest kingpin after his neck, we follow his journey and struggle.



The story is so far well done, the characters are expounded either through the narrator(yeah you heard me), through flashbacks or even through their everyday actions.
But the art is also beautifully done and gives a very old school/new school mix to it.

There are only a few Mangas I know of that take SO MUCH pride with their artwork that it makes your average popular manga's artwork seem lazy! Well I wont go too much into but I surely recommend this to any manga reader who loves action and a great story told in the not so common of ways.

[Now I have a thing about reading mangas online- I don't really stand one way or another about it but not all work gets spotlighted like Shounen Jump. I say read through whatever means suit you but when a manga moves YOU, there comes a point where that artist/team needs your love.
