My Heart Goes Out: Colorado Shooting incident

DARK KNIGHT RISES!! But we're not talking about that right now...
Now on occasion I put aside some things and do tarry on some thoughts.I have a few friends I spoke with regarding the incident and while we all agree this is a very unfortunate event to say the least, many are wondering "Why?"
Before that - Lemme say, - ya know people are truly bothered by the possible idea that this happened because of the previous Batman movie. I have many points of view where people are thinking, "hey - that Joker character was devilishly evil in that last movie. Is this the type of media that we are allowing to warp the minds of our people?"

You begin to raise your eyebrows at the statement mainly due to the fact that USA is kinda well used to violence. On the media, whether it be movies, songs and especially games violence is no stranger to us. Even now as I re-watch the Joker scene, I cant find a part where I think, "Okay... that was a little too much."
Now on the other side of the coin(pun intended) no one spoke out against the movie until now. It was the same case with Pokemon- in Japan, they were like frigging legal crack, but a young child jumps off the roof trying to be pidgey and then a case was filed! I do feel pain of the family but I've been hearing a lot of  "so what the guys from Dark Knight gonna do?"
I hope they are kind enough to at least make a heart felt statement if they hadn't already but that's about it.
I have experienced lost of family members both super close and far away and just their death was enough to nearly push me over. But when you process the idea that your loved one was killed... I couldn't imagine what added torment adds to that loss.
Whether nerd, jock, businessman, artist, young or old - we all have something we hold dear. Usually that something is a someone and even though we all have an allotted time here no one wants that person murdered so in respect and love - I send prayers to those families and I hope that they can gather peace soon regarding this tragedy.

I have a few more vital thoughts regarding this incident which will be discussed later on- until then.
